Update: 30 March 2020
In line with current measures to limit the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), all non-urgent dental services, including Smile Squad, will be put on hold.
Emergency and urgent dental services can still be accessed at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne and many community-based dental services across the state.
If you have a dental emergency or require oral health advice, please contact the Royal Dental Hospital Melbourne on 9341 1000 (outside Melbourne metro call: 1800 833 039) or use the online community dental clinics search for a list of dental clinics in your area. You may also visit www.dhsv.org.au if you require any further information.
The health and wellbeing of Victorians remains our highest priority. We will actively plan for the re-commencement of Smile Squad services once it is appropriate to do so.
During this period, we urge all Victorian children and their families to maintain their oral health by eating well, drinking tap water, and brushing twice a day with fluoride toothpaste.
If you have any concerns regarding coronavirus (COVID-19) you can call the Coronavirus Hotline on 1800 675 398 or visit www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au.
